Our farm

The name "Ölehof" comes from the old oil mill. From 1756 until 1942, oil was extracted from nuts, beech-nuts and linseed. This was an important income for the farmers. The mill is powered by water and still in good shape, however, the mill-wheel is only moved for sightseeing purposes.
Today our farm enclose 78ha, consisting of around 42 ha forest and 36 ha pasture land an fields.

About 600 fruit-trees deliver the raw material for our housedrink: applewine and the famous fruit-spirits (Schnapps).

There are cows, calwes, the breeding-bull "Molli", chicken, cats, goats, dog "Gipsy" and the horses "Saska", "Verona" and donkey lady Jaqueline.

It is us - the Haberstroh Family - who takes care of all that:
